Who is Bob Barr?

Bob Barr is a former Republican Congressman who is runing for President as a Libertarian.

What do Libertarians believe in?

Limited constitutional government, free markets, ending the war on drugs, and ending the war in Iraq.

Why the 12th of July?

On the 12th of July in 1690, King William of Orange defeated the former British king, James II in Ireland.  James II wanted to rule with no constraints on his power.  He was overthrown by the British people in a non-violent Revolution in 1688 and replaced with William of Orange who believed in ruling as a constitutional monarch.  James attempted to overturn this result by first invading Ireland.  On July 12, 1690 he was defeated at the Battle of the Boyne and the Glorious Revolution was secured.  We hope to have another non-violent revolution in November by electing a man who understands the constitutional limits on the Presidency and the Federal Government.

No.  This is my idea and it is not associated with the campaign.

Why should I support Bob Barr when many say he can't win?

You don't support someone because you think he can win.  You support someone because he is right.  If enough people do that then he can win.

What is wrong with McCain or Obama?

Neither John McCain or Barack Obama understand the proper role of government.  They are both happy with expanding the welfare state and with growing the size of the already bloated Federal Government.  Neither seems very concerned about civil liberties.  McCain also has a dangerous and costly foreign policy.  Some might say that if you vote for Bob Barr you are throwing your vote away.  But if you vote for McCain or Obama you are throwing your country away.
